About
My name is Michael Søndergaard, and are from Denmark, land of old lost Vikings.
I studied computer science at Roskilde Business College, I graduated as a Data Mathematicians back in 1997. After my graduation, I got a job as a software developer at an engineering firm, here I was introduced to SQL Server 6.5. From that time on, I felt in love with the product, and have focused my carrier on specializing myself in the core database system. At the moment I am employed at an investment bank, where I part of the team, which manage, optimize and develop their very large Back Office Database.
Besides my passion for databases, IT technology and programming, I also enjoy spending my time on my two little girls and my wife. In the summertime I also likes to get my hands dirty, by doing countless hours of home improvement and maintainance.
